About Me

Prishita Vora is a healthcare leader, operations consultant, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience building, operating, and strengthening healthcare systems across East Africa. She serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Health Regulations & Quality Standards (HRQ&S) Committee under the Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF) and was recognized among the Top 40 Under 40 in Africa (2025). Her work sits at the intersection of healthcare delivery, regulation, ethics, and operational excellence.

Her career spans clinical practice, healthcare systems design, and executive leadership. She is the Founder and former CEO of White Oak Medical Centre in Nairobi, where she led its growth into a high-performing, patient-centered outpatient facility known for efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strong operational systems. Her leadership focused on licensing, inspections, staffing structures, cost control, and governance—ensuring sustainable and ethical service delivery.

Earlier in her career, she founded Elective International, a global health exchange program that placed over 10,000 medical students across six countries, working with hospitals, universities, and ministries to strengthen healthcare capacity and foster cross-cultural learning. She also developed the Jikinge Mobile App, supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to expand access to HIV/AIDS education and reduce stigma among Kenyan youth.

Currently, Prishita works as a healthcare operations and compliance consultant, advising hospitals, clinics, and healthcare founders on facility setup, licensing pathways, inspection readiness, and systems design. She specializes in translating complex regulatory frameworks into practical, executable systems that enable facilities to operate efficiently, compliantly, and sustainably.

Her work extends beyond healthcare facilities into community impact, including organizing health camps, supporting cancer care initiatives, improving rural water access, and advancing education for underserved communities.

Prishita holds academic training in Health Services Administration from Florida International University and Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Loma Linda University. She continues to advance her expertise in governance and humanitarian leadership, reflecting a commitment to lifelong learning.

Beyond her professional work, she is a wife and mother of two, grounding her mission in building healthcare systems that are not only efficient, but compassionate and sustainable.
